Authentic Arts Programming: A Discussion of the Creation of Genuine Arts Experiences for Creator and Community

  • The DiMenna Center for Classical Music 450 West 37th Street New York, NY, 10018 United States (map)

What is authentic arts programming and how do we, as an arts community, continue to create experiences with this authenticity in mind?

Have you ever cancelled or altered programming because it didn't feel authentic? Can arts organizations "measure" the authenticity of their programming? If so, how?

Come together with ELNYA and other arts administrators to find answers to these questions, exchange information about programming experiences, and foster collaboration for the creation of new arts opportunities for their audiences and communities. By the end of this roundtable and panel discussion regarding authentic arts programming and community engagement, we hope you'll come away with new inspiration, alternative means to reach your audiences, and a cohort of colleagues who can support you in that process.

The event is free to attend, but RSVPs are encouraged to secure your ticket. Complimentary wine and refreshments will be provided in a reception following the panel.

Yolanda L. Rodriguez (BxArts Factory)
Gary Padmore (Orchestra of St. Luke's)
